The number of people killed in Russia’s airstrike on Kyiv has risen to 18, including four children. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

“The number of victims of the enemy’s attack has increased. Unfortunately, among the dead are children,” Tkachenko stated.

“Russia chooses ballistics over the negotiating table. It chooses to continue killing rather than to end the war. This means that Russia is not afraid of consequences. Russia continues to take advantage of the fact that at least a small part of the world closes its eyes to murdered children,” said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russian forces launched more than 600 missiles and drones against Ukraine overnight.

The Ukrainian side reported that air defense forces destroyed 589 drones.
