The National Environmental Agency is warning the public about the weather expected in Georgia in the coming days.

According to the Agency, on February 11, precipitation is expected in eastern Georgia, locally heavy, mostly in the form of snow, along with fog, blizzards, and icy conditions on the roads. In mountainous areas, there is also a risk of avalanches. Due to heavy snowfall, reduced visibility, blizzards, icy conditions, and avalanche threats, traffic may be restricted on certain sections of the roads.

The expected heavy precipitation may trigger the occurrence or activation of landslide processes in hilly and mountainous areas (hazard level — moderate).
