The Highways Department has announced a ₾19.7 million tender for the rehabilitation of the Rustavi-Gardabni road. The road, which passes through both populated and uninhabited areas, is in poor condition and requires significant repairs.
According to the tender details, the pavement is damaged with visible longitudinal and transverse cracks, along with small potholes. In populated areas, reinforced concrete drainage systems and irrigation canals are also in need of repair or replacement.
The project will maintain the current road layout, with no changes to the geometric parameters of the road plan or lane usage.
Companies interested in bidding must have completed at least one project worth 50% of this tender’s value (₾9.8 million) and have experience with similar projects, valued at no less than 60% of the tender’s total amount.
Proposals can be submitted until November 1.
