"Work is beginning on the construction of a transport hub at the intersection of Noe Jordania Embankment and Kosta Khetagurov Street, which is why, from 00:00 on June 28 of this year until the end of July, vehicle traffic will be partially restricted," reads a statement from Tbilisi City Hall.
According to City Hall, during the construction period, traffic will be gradually restricted at the square located at the intersection of Noe Jordania Embankment and Kosta Khetagurov Street, alternating on different sides of the road.
"A full reconstruction of the Ortachala HPP Bridge over the Mtkvari River is also starting. Due to the planned infrastructure work, from 00:00 on June 28 of this year and for a period of four months, vehicle traffic will be partially restricted. During the construction, vehicles will be able to use only two lanes of the bridge in both directions."
Tbilisi City Hall apologizes for the inconvenience caused, the statement concludes.
